Hi there, I’m Matt. I’m a 20 year old technology enthusiast, currently studying Information Technology at RMIT University. Thanks for visiting my website!

At the age of 7, I received my first computer running Windows 98. It sparked an interest that has not disappeared since – I love tinkering with both hardware and software, frequently breaking configurations to eventually fixing them, sometimes with minor improvements.

For my secondary education, I went to St Francis Xavier College, and quickly became well-known for my skill with computers. Over the years, I’ve learned much – especially what you shouldn’t do in certain situations. For my VCE studies, I completed a Certificate II in Information Technology, a Certificate III in Interactive Digital Media, and VCE Software Development.

At the moment, I spend most of my time administering my Minecraft server – which isn’t an easy task! It includes keeping versions of multiple Spigot plugins up-to-date, ensuring Linux, nginx, MySQL and WordPress remain configured correctly, and most importantly – keeping players happy! This has provided me with a lot of important long term knowledge, especially when it comes to maintenance and troubleshooting. However, this is done when I’m not at University.

Anyway, that’s all for now. If you want, you can browse around my site for cool and interesting tidbits. But be warned, my blog posts tend to be quite lengthy.
